What is a GoHighLevel customizer?
A GoHighLevel customizer is a tool that changes how the GoHighLevel app looks and behaves for everyone who signs in: colors, theme, login page, menus, dashboards and extra widgets. The GHL Customizer is a self-serve account on the GHL Customer Care customizer platform: you log in, pick your look in a live editor with previews, and install it by pasting one line of code.
Who sees the new look, my staff or the parents?
Both, in different places. The theme, login page, menus, dashboard, pipeline board and contact actions are what your director, front desk and (for agencies) your center clients see inside GoHighLevel. Popups, notifications, calculators and floating widgets appear on your website, where prospective parents see them.
Does it change every sub-account at once?
Yes. Install once in your GoHighLevel agency settings and the look applies to every sub-account on the next page load. Later changes go live instantly, with no re-install. If you are an agency with several centers, they all get the same branded experience without anyone re-pasting code.
Do I need to know GHL custom CSS or JavaScript?
No. You copy one line from your account and paste it into Agency Settings → Company → White Label → Custom JS, plus one CSS line for the login page. It takes about two minutes. After that, every change you save in the editor goes live instantly, with no re-install.

Will it break my workflows, forms or tour bookings?
No. The customizer changes presentation only: colors, layout, menus and added widgets. Your workflows, calendars, pipelines, contacts and automations keep running exactly as before, and you can switch the look off at any time.
Is this the same as the Childcare Snapshot?
No. The Childcare Snapshot installs the automations (enrollment intake, tour reminders, waitlist nurture, reviews). The GHL Customizer changes how GoHighLevel looks. They work well together but are bought separately.
